Introduction to Rock Wool Board

Rock wool board is a type of rock wool insulation material primarily used for ductwork. It is made mainly from basalt as the raw material, which is melted at high temperatures and then transformed into artificial inorganic fibers using high-speed centrifugal equipment. Binders and dust-proof oil are added during the process, followed by heating and curing to produce rock wool insulation boards of various specifications and requirements. Rock wool can also be combined with glass wool or aluminum silicate wool to form composite rock wool insulation boards. Rock wool boards are primarily made from diabase and basalt slag, which are melted at high temperatures. During the high-speed centrifugal process, adhesives and waterproofing agents are sprayed to create resin rock wool insulation boards and waterproof rock wool insulation boards.
